Scotland Winter Retreat 2027
There's a particular kind of quiet that only comes in winter. This January, we're taking a small group to the Scottish Borders - a beautiful Victorian country mansion, wild swims, candlelit yoga, and three days to properly slow down. We can't wait for this one.

Portugal Retreat 2026: The Little Touches That Made the Week So Special
Every retreat has its memorable moments. The conversations that stay with you. The laughter around the dinner table. The swims, the sunshine, the slower pace of life. We also believe it's often the little details that make a retreat feel special. Here's a look back at our Portugal retreat and a thank you to the wonderful brands who helped us create some special moments.
Held, Supported and Changed
At our recent retreat in Tavira, women navigating major life changes found space to feel supported, nurtured, and genuinely cared for. From meaningful connections to moments of deep rest and restoration, the week reminded us how powerful it can be to simply feel held.
When Therapy and Coaching Meet: Reflections from Our Tavira Retreat
Our recent retreat in Tavira brought our original vision for Blue Spaces Wellbeing to life, combining therapy and coaching in a way that allowed guests to both process what was holding them back and begin creating meaningful change. Surrounded by support, reflection, and connection, we witnessed just how powerful these two modalities can be when they work together.
Māyā in the Age of Screens: Seeing Through the Filters of Modern Life
Explore Maya in a modern context. How therapy helps you see through illusion, identity, and perception in a world shaped by screens and comparison.
From Drama to Empowerment
Many of us find ourselves caught in familiar patterns in our relationships and day to day lives. Transactional Analysis offers a simple yet powerful way to understand these dynamics through the Drama Triangle and its more constructive counterpart, the Empowerment Triangle. By recognising the roles we step into and learning how to shift them, it becomes possible to respond with greater awareness, confidence and choice. At Blue Spaces Wellbeing, our coaching and therapy services support you in making these changes and moving towards a more balanced and empowered way of living.
Bodhisattvas of Your Psyche: Therapy and Yoga.
What if the thoughts and feelings we struggle with are not problems to solve, but parts of us trying to help. Therapy and yoga together create space to meet these inner voices with curiosity rather than control, softening the belief that we must discipline ourselves into wholeness.
You Finished Your Training. Now What?
You finish your training thinking you’re ready. Then… nothing really happens. No clients, no clear next step, just a quiet sense of “what now?” If that’s you, this will explain a lot.
Why We Started Blue Spaces Business
We kept meeting brilliant wellness professionals who had done the training but were still wondering how to actually get clients. That’s where Blue Spaces Business came from.
Because finishing the training isn’t the hard part.
The hard part is figuring out how to turn that qualification into something people actually understand, book, and pay for.
What Does a Reset Actually Look Like?
Everyone says they need a reset. Usually in a half-laughing kind of way. But when you're a busy woman with a full life and a mind thats full of lists and plan, what does that actually mean, and what does it look like in practice?
A Gentle Guide to the Peaceful Place Practice
A gentle guide to the Peaceful Place practice offering trauma-sensitive grounding to support calm safety and nervous system regulation. Learn how to explore rest and steadiness without pressure to visualise or force relaxation.
You’re Not Looking to Escape Your Life. You’re Looking for Space.
Many people aren’t looking to escape their lives or start again. They’re craving space. Space to rest without guilt, to think clearly before making decisions, to move their bodies in ways that feel good, and to spend time with people who understand them without explanation.
This is for anyone in that in-between place: capable, busy, quietly carrying a lot, and sensing that what they really need right now isn’t more effort, but more room to breathe and hear themselves again.

Behind the Scenes, Gratitude and a Few Favourite Moments.
Our recent Mallorca Reset Retreat gave us one of those rare weeks where everything slows down enough for you to actually notice how you feel. Mornings on the terrace, movement in the shala, long brunches, quiet afternoons in the sun and evenings spent chatting and eating together. Simple moments that felt grounding in the kind of way you crave.
This year we also loved introducing a new set of women-led wellbeing brands through our welcome bags. In this blog we’re sharing some of our favourite moments from the retreat along with a thank you to the brands who helped make it feel so considered and supportive.
Reflections on Mallorca
Mallorca Reflection: reflects on the gentle transition after our Mallorca Reset Retreat, a women-led experience of rest, reflection, and renewal. This immersive retreat invited women from around the world to pause, connect, and rediscover balance through movement, coaching, and therapeutic conversation. Surrounded by Mallorca’s olive groves and sea air, participants explored what it means to slow down, listen inward, and embrace change with intention. Rooted in community and mindfulness, this retreat offered space to breathe, grow, and reset. Returning home more grounded, open, and aligned with what truly matters.

What If You Flipped the “What Ifs”?
We’ve all been there: lying awake at night replaying the same “what ifs” over and over. What if I fail? What if I regret it? What if I make the wrong choice? The truth is, those questions are just your brain’s way of keeping you safe, but they can also keep you stuck. Here’s how to flip them into possibility, and why it matters if you’re at a career crossroads, making a change, or just overwhelmed and in need of a reset.
