An Hour of Quiet: Winter Solstice Practice

December. Can be a lot of fun. Can be a lot of stress. Can just be a lot. Full stop.

Your inbox is filling up with ‘quick’ tasks to get finished before EOY. You’re spending way too much time on your secret santa present, and you’re looking at your calendar, wondering how and why it got so full with things you’re not sure you even said yet to.

Your evenings are a blur of wrapping, organising, tidying, ‘sorting’ (everything needs sorting this time of year) and just trying to stay on top of it all.

So we’re pausing all of this for an hour on Sunday 21st December. Join us to practice together, live, to celebrate the Winter Solstice. A magical time of the year when we’ve reached peak darkness and the days start to get lighter from now on (We’re trying our best to ‘winter’, but more daylight is much needed!)

Let’s all come together and practice. Just one hour, 6-7pm, to help your body and mind settle a little bit, before the festive mayhem creeps back in.

A small moment of peace, right when most of us need it the most.

What you'll need:

  • A blanket or warm layers

  • A little space to sit and lie down

  • A candle if you want a bit of winter glow

  • A warm cuppa (highly recommended)

  • A bolster or pillow
