A few days away where you don’t have to hold everything together

Most people who come on a Blue Spaces retreat arrive feeling a bit tired of carrying so much.

Work decisions. Family logistics. Keeping up with whatsapp group messages. Clearing your inbox. All the small things that add up to a lot.

You might not be completely burnt out. But you probably know you need a proper break.

A few days somewhere calm where you don’t have to organise everything or be needed by everyone.

That’s what these retreats are for. They’re designed to help you step out of your day-to-day, gain clarity on what’s next, and reconnect with what actually matters to you.

    Yoga Teacher Retreat

Maybe you've recently qualified and are wondering how to turn your training into a real teaching career.

Or perhaps you've been teaching for years but feel stuck teaching the same classes, using the same themes, and would love some fresh inspiration and confidence.

You might be thinking about running your own workshop, retreat, or event, but feel overwhelmed by everything that comes with it. Pricing, bookings, marketing, filling spaces, managing the logistics, and wondering whether anyone will actually sign up.

This retreat is for yoga teachers who want practical support, honest conversations, and time to learn from people who have been there.

Laura will share her experience around teaching mixed-ability classes, adapting poses, building confidence, and creating meaningful experiences for students. Nikita will cover the business side of being a yoga teacher, including marketing, sales, events, retreats, and the behind-the-scenes systems that make everything run more smoothly.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to reignite your teaching, you'll leave with fresh ideas and practical tools.

Nourishing meals prepared for you. Evenings that end early, because winter here invites you inward.

The sky alive with the quiet, shifting glow of the northern lights.

Yoga Nidra before sleep. Heavy blankets. Deep, uninterrupted rest.

Nothing crowded. Nothing urgent. Nothing to perform.

Just a few days held by a place where the dark restores you and sleep returns naturally again.

    Yoga & Breathwork retreat

    GREECE 2027

Most of us move through life breathing quickly and without awareness.
Shoulders lifted. Chest tight. A constant, low-level sense of urgency.

This retreat is a chance to soften that rhythm.

Over a few days by the sea, we slow everything down. The steady presence of water, open skies, and salt air begins to reset the nervous system in ways that feel both simple and profound.

Mornings start with gentle yoga to awaken the body gradually. Later, guided breathwork sessions introduce practical ways to breathe more deeply and efficiently.

Between sessions, there is time to swim in the sea, sit in the warmth of the sun, eat nourishing food and rest without interruption.

A few quiet days of movement, breath, and coastal stillness, allowing your body to recalibrate, and your nervous system to remember what ease feels like.

Our RETREATS

What the days are actually like

They’re simple.

You wake up somewhere beautiful. You might join the morning dip, meditation, or yoga. Or you might stay in bed a bit longer with a coffee and enjoy the quiet.

After a long, relaxed brunch, the afternoon is yours.

Some people head out for a walk.
Some finally open that book they’ve been meaning to read for ages.
Some sit by the pool, swim, or just have a proper rest.

Later in the day there’s another gentle yoga session, and 1:1 coaching and movement for those who want it.

There’s good food, time outside, and the kind of conversations that happen when nobody’s rushing off or checking their phone every few minutes.

Nothing is packed. Nothing is compulsory.

You can join things if you want to, or simply slow down and take the break you came for.

Most guests say something along the lines of:

“I just need a break.”

Sometimes it’s been a busy few months.
Sometimes something in life or work is changing and you need space to work through it.
Sometimes people just feel like they’ve been on autopilot for too long.

Stepping away from your normal routine for a few days often changes how things feel.

Your mind quiets down.
Your body relaxes.
Things that felt unclear start to make more sense again.

Questions people often ask before booking

People participating in a yoga or meditation session in a room with large windows and natural light.
  • Yes. Most people do.

Nearly everyone arrives slightly unsure about coming alone, but that quickly changes!

The groups are small so there’s time to socialise if you want it, and time to yourself too.

  • That’s completely fine.

Some people join every activity. Others spend more time reading, walking, or just sitting somewhere quiet.

    It’s your time.

  • No.

Everything is optional. The sessions are there if you want them, but there’s no pressure to attend.

  • No problem at all. The movement sessions are gentle and relaxed. No experience needed.

  • Blue Spaces offers retreats in calming, nature-based locations including Portugal, Mallorca, Scotland, Iceland and Greece. Some retreats focus on rest and clarity, some on yoga and movement, and others on business support for wellness professionals, and for those just looking for a break!

  • We host retreats in beautiful, nature-based places such as Portugal, Mallorca, Scotland, Iceland and Greece. You can find all current and upcoming retreats on this page.
