Therapy with Laura

Online. Confidential.

A space for honest conversation, understanding & gentle change..

Sometimes we move through something difficult and simply keep going. Work continues, life moves forward and everything keeps functioning.

But the experience can stay with you.

You might be grieving, going through a divorce, navigating menopause, or adjusting to a life change you didn’t choose. Or perhaps you’ve just been feeling more anxious, tired, or unsettled than usual.

From the outside you may seem fine, even strong.
But inside, things can feel heavier than they should.

Therapy creates space to pause and talk things through. With the right support, you can begin to make sense of what you’ve been carrying and move forward with greater understanding.

Laura is a BACP registered psychotherapist. She works online in a calm, confidential setting where you can speak honestly and take your time.

Who this is for

This might be for you if:

  • You’ve been holding things together on the outside while struggling more privately

  • You’re moving through divorce, grief or another significant life change

  • You feel more anxious, reactive, or emotionally distant than you used to

  • You’ve been carrying something difficult without really having space to process it

  • You’d value thoughtful, supportive conversation to help you make sense of things

You don’t need to be in crisis.
You don’t need to have the right words.

Just a sense that something inside you would like attention and care.

The Therapy Process

Sessions last 50 minutes.

You’re invited to bring whatever feels important, what’s happening now and the experiences that have shaped things over time. Laura listens with care and works alongside you to gently explore and make sense of what you’re going through.

There’s no pressure to arrive with the right words or to “do therapy” in a particular way.

Some sessions you may come with a lot on your mind. Other times you might not know where to begin. Both are completely welcome.

The work unfolds gradually through conversation, reflection, and being thoughtfully supported. Over time, things that once felt confusing or heavy can begin to make more sense and you may start to relate to yourself with greater understanding and steadiness.

About Laura

Laura is a BACP-registered psychotherapist with a background in movement, coaching and one-to-one support. For many years she has worked closely with individuals, helping people navigate challenges, reconnect with themselves and move toward greater wellbeing.

During the COVID period Laura retrained as a therapist, deepening her commitment to supporting people through life’s more complex and difficult experiences. Her approach is thoughtful, warm and grounded, creating a space where people feel safe to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.

Alongside her therapeutic work, Laura is also an established yoga teacher and personal trainer. This background informs her understanding that emotional and physical wellbeing are deeply connected, and that both conversation and movement can play a meaningful role in helping people find steadier ground.

Laura particularly values the depth that can emerge in one-to-one work, and she cares deeply about holding a supportive space where people can slow down, reflect and gently make sense of the parts of life that feel difficult or unresolved.

How therapy can help

Therapy won’t erase difficult experiences, but it can help you understand them more fully and feel less alone with what you’re carrying.

Over time, people often begin to:

  • Make more sense of their thoughts, feelings, and reactions

  • Relate to themselves with greater understanding and less self-criticism

  • Notice patterns that may have been hard to see before

  • Feel steadier and less pulled around by difficult emotions

  • Express their needs and boundaries more clearly

  • Reconnect with parts of themselves that may have felt lost or pushed aside

Change rarely happens all at once.

More often it unfolds gradually, through conversation, reflection, and feeling understood — and that’s what helps it last.
