zakynthos • TIDAL: PILATES, GYROKINESIS, YOGA, retreat • 8-11th SEPTEMBER 2027
Greece
Move differently. Rest deeply. Get curious about your body.
Join Blue Spaces Wellbeing and Mariana Movement Pilates in Greece for three nights of movement, sea, beautiful food and space to slow down.
TIDAL is a creative movement retreat bringing together Pilates, GYROKINESIS® and gentle restorative yoga, with practices that evolve across our time together and take inspiration from the rhythms and movement of the sea.
This isn't about doing more.
It's about having the time and space to move, explore, rest and perhaps experience your body a little differently.
Zakynthos, Greece • 8-11th September 2027
Wake up to the sea.
Move, swim, eat long lunches, read by the pool, head to the beach, watch the sun go down. And, for a few days, have nowhere else you need to be.
TIDAL is three nights in beautiful Greece, bringing together morning Pilates and GYROKINESIS® with gentle, restorative evening yoga. Our movement will take inspiration from the landscape around us, exploring strength and precision alongside spirals, flow, softness and rest.
Between practices, there is plenty of space to swim, eat, explore, sleep, read or simply do very little at all.
Everything is optional.
Small group • plenty of free time • everything optional
A retreat that moves with you
TIDAL is more than Pilates in the morning and yoga at night. The practices will evolve across our time together, moving from the strength and precision of Pilates towards the spiralling, fluid movement of GYROKINESIS®, before slowing down with gentle, restorative yoga in the evenings.
No experience of GYROKINESIS® is needed. Just come curious, explore something new and enjoy moving your body without needing to achieve anything.
Movement to explore. Space to enjoy it.
No guilt. No packed schedule. Just movement, rest and a few days by the sea..

8:00am – Morning Pilates with Mariana, gradually evolving towards more fluid, spiralling GYROKINESIS® practices
9:30am – Long, nourishing breakfast
11:00am – Free time to swim, read, rest, explore, head to the beach or just stay exactly where you are

Across the retreat we also head out for:
Head out for a boat trip day
Trip to the beach, or a hike
Your home in Zakynthos
For three nights, we'll have two beautiful private villas in the north of Zakynthos entirely to ourselves.
Think white stone, big skies, infinity pools, outdoor terraces and stunning views out to the Ionian Sea.
We'll practise outside overlooking the water, eat together on the terrace and make the most of September days that still feel very much like summer.
There are plenty of places to be together, and plenty of corners to disappear to when you want some time to yourself.
Morning coffee with a sea view.
A swim between sessions.
A book by the pool.
Dinner outside as the sun goes down.
It really is a beautiful place to spend a few days.

Who This Is For
You don't need to be experienced at pilates, Gyrokinesis or yoga. Or have been on a retreat of anytime before.
You might come because:
Life has been busy and you'd really like a few days away from it
You love movement but rarely have time to practise as much as you'd like
You're curious about Pilates, Gyrokinesis or want the space to deepen an existing practice
You want a holiday that feels restorative rather than exhausting
You'd like some time by the sea, with good food and your days largely taken care of
You fancy travelling somewhere beautiful but don't necessarily want to do it alone
You simply saw Greece, Pilates, Yoga and September in the same sentence and thought yes
That's enough of a reason.
Previous Retreat Reviews
“My initial hesitancy was immediately forgotten from the minute I arrived.
Beautiful venue, delicious healthy food, peaceful comfortable room, positive, supportive advice if needed, yoga, movement, swimming...but most of all...delightful, funny, inspirational people. Deep friendships were formed and will no doubt endure. Recommend fully.”
R Hitchen“This retreat was exactly what I didn’t realize I needed. From the moment I arrived, everything felt intentional — the atmosphere, the yoga practices, the community, and the balance between activity and rest.
What stood out most was how grounded and welcoming the experience felt. It wasn’t about perfection or performance; it was about reconnecting with yourself, slowing down, and being present. The instructors created such a supportive space for all levels, and every session left me feeling stronger, calmer, and more centered.
The setting itself was beautiful and peaceful, making it easy to fully unplug from daily stress and settle into the rhythm of the retreat. I also loved the sense of connection that naturally developed among the group — meaningful conversations, shared meals, and genuine kindness throughout the experience.
I left feeling physically refreshed, mentally clear, and deeply grateful for the experience. If you’re looking for a retreat that combines wellness, authenticity, and community in a truly memorable way, I would absolutely recommend this one.”
Bita“Love you lovely lot. You've changed my life honestly.”
