Grounded Somatic Movement Series: Inner Landscapes

A collection of guided practices for exploring your inner world through meditation, breath, somatic awareness and gentle movement.

Inner Landscapes is an invitation to slow down and turn your attention towards what is happening beneath the surface.

Originally recorded live on Zoom, these sessions bring together practices drawn from meditation, yoga, somatic enquiry, breath and gentle movement. Rather than asking you to achieve a particular state or empty your mind, they offer different ways of noticing sensation, thought, emotion and the changing landscape of your experience.

The recordings retain the natural pace of a live practice. There are pauses, moments of quiet and space to notice your own response, rather than being continuously guided from one thing to the next.

You don’t need any previous experience, and there is no programme to complete. You can move through the collection in your own way, returning to individual practices whenever they feel useful.

Some days that might mean making space to settle and become quieter. On others, it might be noticing where you are holding tension, reconnecting with your body, exploring your breath or simply giving yourself some time away from the constant input of everyday life.

What you’ll receive

You’ll receive access to a private YouTube playlist containing the complete Inner Landscapes collection. Once you have access, you can explore the recordings in your own time and revisit the practices as often as you like.

£20 for the full collection.

A note before practising

These sessions are offered as general wellbeing practices and are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. The collection may include meditation, breathwork, somatic practices and gentle movement, and not every element will be appropriate for every person.

Please work within a comfortable range and adapt or stop a practice whenever you need to. Particular care may be appropriate during pregnancy or if you have cardiovascular, respiratory or neurological conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, a history of fainting or seizures, recent injury or surgery, or another condition that may be affected by changes to breathing or movement.

Inward-focused practices can sometimes bring up unexpected sensations, thoughts or emotions. You are always welcome to keep your eyes open, change position, orient yourself to your surroundings, skip part of a practice or stop altogether.

If you are unsure whether any of the practices are appropriate for you, please seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before taking part.
