As the days get shorter and the light fades there is an invitation to slow, to listen, to make space for the inner quiet. In Wintering, Katherine May reminds us that we do not fight the cold; we enter it with courage, we allow what wants to be felt, and we trust that transformation is at work beneath the surface.

This series: 7 dawn gatherings held every Wednesday morning at 7am offers a tender space in which to move our bodies, breathe and pause. A weekly act of self-kindness, a community of warm presence and the a ritual of tending to ourselves.

These sessions will be held online from 7:00–8:00am and will start on the 5.11.25 until the 17.12.25. The practices will weave together movement, breath, stillness, and meditation.

We imagine these mornings as a kind of “inner hearth” — a steady flame in the cold months. In gathering, we do not deny winter’s gravity; we allow ourselves to feel its weight, to rest into its lessons, and to welcome the seed of renewal it quietly holds.

Over these seven weeks, we will track the arc from inward opening, out into gentle flow, into soft strength, and back to a resting integration.

Let us walk into this winter season not with resistance, but with reverence. Let us winter together cultivating resilience, compassion, and the slow alchemy of renewal.
